I have a lot of sympathy for those who fight for the welfare of animals but none at all for the balaclava hat brigade. Wrong in what way? I suspect what may have started off as a legitimate group has become increasingly aggressive and stubborn during the course of the Oxford protest and, of course, the Pro-Test movement and the media attention.

I’ve been following Speak for quite a while now, each time with an open mind, and all I’ve seen, heard and felt recently has been bitterness and anger and paranoia.
