NTIA comment marathon comes to an end

I think it’s done. I think the NTIA has finally finished posting all the comments in the ICANN inquiry. The final total would appear to be 605, although there are between 10 and 20 resends, so just under 600 comments in total.

The vast majority came in the last few days - see here. Okay, I will read the last 30 or so and then come back with an overall summary.

Update [20 minutes later]: Oops. Spoke too soon. More have just gone up.

Had a glance through a random selection of them and a remarkable number are very facile (or uneducated):

“You shouldn’t be thinking how to run the interweb. It shouldn’t be up to
you.”

“How the internet should be run? Really the answer is very simple I personally think since the U.S. is running the internet right now I think we should continue to do so simply because we are doing well. […]”

That said, theres some good ones there that I hope attention is paid to. Perhaps you could write an article about them?

I am going to do an article soon as I’ve finished reading them all. The most important ones come on the last day.
