Oxford is called the “City of Dreaming Spires” and I have to say these are my favourite two – All Souls'. This pic was taken from the back of them, when strolling down the strange New College Lane.
I'd taken a nice photo of a yellow punt at this point earlier in the day and wanted to get a snap of all the punts when tied up for the night. I like this.
I like this – the warm setting sun, the pavement of Oxford's famous High Street, the silhouette of a bicycle and two people strolling off together.
I must have looked at Magdelen College a hundred times but I only just noticed the bishop with the wagging figure as if on the bow of a ship. It was a lovely day too and the different light and shadows on the different parts of the building gave the shot a nice depth I [...]

Strange but lovely – the canal creating its own street.
Permanent residency on Oxford's canal. Most of the boats have numbers and postboxes, some even have mini gardens.
